CSULB Salsa Club is a non-profit campus club under the direction of Student Life and Development. It was founded in 2006 by Kevin Ngo, a finance major. Since its establishment, the club has become one of the largest active clubs on campus sometimes pooling more than 100 students per meeting.
CSULB Salsa Club welcomes anyone and everyone with an interest in learning Latin Dance. Although we specialize in salsa, we like to provide an all around knowledge of dance which also encompasses classes in Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, and more.
Guest instructors provide their expertise in various styles, and tailor the class to fit the level of the students. Beginners can benefit greatly from weekly lessons, while more intermediate members have the opportunity to dance with advanced members of the club and learn from one another.
CSULB Salsa Club truly provides a friendly and welcoming environment where students can leave their troubles at the door and enter a world of dance, which provides the perfect escape from the monotony of daily responsibilities.
But don’t just take our word for it… come see for yourself.
